Gracie | Class of 2018

The thing about Gracie is that you can’t be around her and not smile. Or feel loved. She has the sweetest soul. There is something very soothing in her presence that always puts me at peace.

Gracie and I had been planning this photo session for over a month but the wind had other plans for us. When we finally met, I was so excited to take Gracie to this field of pinwheels.  It just fit her personality to take her to a place so colorful. Who doesn’t love pinwheels?! Who doesn’t love Gracie?

oh gracie! you are so many things that I can’t explain. I hope you know just how much I adore you and how loved you are. Thank you for sharing your sweet soul with everyone around you for all these years. For sharing your talent. and your beautiful voice. thank you for being so true and genuine. I love seeing you transition into this next chapter of your life. I know you have the world to discover and impact and cannot wait to see what your future brings. I am always here. Always loving you. And cheering you on!

be infinitely blessed

Jade | Class of 2018

I am so proud to share this young lady with all of you. Sometimes I feel like my website is one long diary entry. But here’s the deal… everyone that has ever stood in front of my camera has impacted my life in some way, shape, or form.

Jade. How do I put this? ….Jade has an unimaginable story to tell about her life and she is still so very young.  But never ever EVER have I seen this little lady project anything besides love and light. Now… i’m not saying she’s perfect. I’m just saying that her particular set of life circumstances would paralyze most of us. But this young lady is an overcomer and a champion. She triumphs. and succeeds. and dreams oh so big. and those dreams become her reality. and in my opinion…. that makes Jade quite the bad ass. (pardon my french)

To photograph her is an honor. But to know her and to have watched her journey in this life is a privilege. Jade Larsen, I have so very much to learn from you. And you will never fully understand the impact that you have made on my life since you were just a child. I love you more than I can ever express and am waiting anxiously to see what you put your heart into in the future.

I will always cherish our moments of laughter, those cookouts, the time we had to run in the rain at the fair, the endless hugs, the birthday parties and wrestling matches where Mauricio would eat your friend’s lunchables…. I promise to always be your cheerleader. And that in those moments where I feel my angels around me, that I will think of you and your smile and thank the HEAVENS that God continues to grace us all with your mom’s spirit in your precious smile and heart.

alright. I’m done crying now. love you BIG.

be infinitely blessed

Kagen and Pressley | Florida Wedding Photographer

Knowing these two high school sweethearts through their love story has been quite the honor.

I have officially seen both coasts with these two. We have shared laughs, recipes, late night texts and awesome ideas…. and then we all stood underneath the Florida sun as they joined their lives together.

Kagen and Pressley have a fondness for each other that is genuine and special. They are servant-hearted and have the sweetest souls. I know that marriage is just as beautiful as their wedding day.

Kagen and Pressley. Watching the two of you be so selfless and genuine is truly the highlight of my year. You are both so kind and generous and have such a sweet desire to serve those around you. I am so honored to have been on the receiving end of your generosity. I know marriage will be beautiful and joyful for you both and cannot wait to see what else life brings to you. Until then, i’ll hold on to all of our coastal memories and look forward to the next time I am lucky enough to spend some time in your light!

Abby | Class of 2018

To know and photograph this young lady is a treat. She has a quiet calm about her. But don’t be fooled. She has a contagious energy and is so down to earth and real.  In between laughs, I become better acquainted with this fierce young lady.

We met for photos a few weeks ago and I asked her what kind of setting she would like. She claimed to be an outdoorsy person and wanted to do more “naturey” kind of photos.

Let me make one thing clear…. Abby is NOT the outdoorsy kind. She is squeamish about most things like… grass. wind. bugs. you know…. stuff that is outside.

and i’m not afraid to call her out on it.

to be fair, however, she did get her hair stuck in the weeds. and I did let go of one of these weeds (¯\_(?)_/¯ ) and it smacked her right in the face. Abby… ok fine. I guess i’ll let you grow up and leave us. I have no doubt in my mind that anything that you set your mind to is within your reach. you have such a gentle soul but the kind of spirit that you have well bring so much joy and light to your world. I full trust that you have an impact to make on everyone around you. Thank you for sharing your senior year memories with me. I am forever grateful to know you and to have had the opportunity to hang out with you for an evening.

Beau and Kirsten | Wedding

Throughout the course of my career, I have photographed more than 200 weddings. And while I might say that each wedding day is similar to another…. each couple I photograph is unique and brings me different layers and kinds of joy.

Work with Beau and Kirsten last year was sweet and peaceful. I loved meeting them for their engagement photos. Beau made her smile nonstop. Kirsten constantly expresses love for Beau;  even in the smallest of gestures.

I love couples like this.

Their wedding day was just as charming; sweet celebrations and tender moments throughout. Here are just a few of those!

Beau and Kirsten! What a sweet day you both had. You are that #goals kind of couple and I am honored to have shared your special day with you!

be infinitely blessed
