my name is chriselda. i'm a portrait and wedding photographer in Texas and absolutely LOVE my job as your photographer. There is nothing that i love more than getting to know my clients on a personal level and helping them create images that are unique to them. i truly adore each and every person that sits before me and trusts me with their smile, personality and heart.
or the fact that Megan always has something sweet and fattening waiting for me…
whatever it is… they’re one of my favorite families to photograph
thank you sooooo soooo much for every courtesy you have extended in my direction. for opening your home and hearts to me and my camera. for being such AMAZING people to work with! you have been such a joy and blessing in my life!!! thank you 100 times thank you!
the wedding was completely flawless – thanks to Parie from The Secret Garden – i really can’t say enough about her talent and impeccable vision and taste
right before walking his daughter down the aisle:
william is an architect William and Callie: i cannot completely explain to you how honored i was to be there to capture these memories for you. to witness your union. to laugh with your family and friends! i am so grateful to have had the opportunity to work for and with you both and can only imagine how much happiness, joy, and peace your lives will bring to you! I admire the sweet ways you speak to each other. the way you both look into each other’s eyes and smile without movement or words. you are both gorgeous individuals with amazing hearts and you have touched my soul. thank you again… and again… and again…
or desire. or affection. or happiness. or true love
i would tell you, to kindly meet my friends: Jason and Abby
i’ve sat at this computer screen for several minutes trying to come up with a way to “summarize” their wedding day
or what i see in them as a couple
and how they treat each other and how they LOVE each other
i’ve sat at this computer screen for several minutes crying because i’m trying to form the words to do so
I have known Abby for four years now – and Jason i met a couple of years ago
i became their neighbor earlier this year and our coffee talk, ice cream dates, bike rides, front yard chit chats, and random drop-ins have become precious memories of mine
so when Jason and Abby announced their engagement, i knew that i was going to be in the midst of one of the greatest unions i have been a witness to
because, over the last year or so, i have sat across from abby as she BEAMED about how wonderful of a man jason is
and i have been fortunate to see him dote on her equally
he is that man that we all grow up wanting to marry
the one that we pray about, and hope for, and wait for
and i am very very very VERY happy that my beautiful friend is no longer his girlfriend, or his fiance, or just his best friend
but that she is now his life long partner
and i am happy that jason has found abby – and that he has her very passionate, giving, generous and encompassing love
that she gives it to him so freely and willingingly
the wedding was going to be a quite and intimate affair, with just Jason and Abby, the officiant, and myself, in the middle of Palo Duro Canyon
however, the morning of, rain, sleet, and snow fell from the sky and temperatures dropped to just above freezing
so we spent most of the morning hoping for some divine intervention
or that something would pop up – because we had no back up plan
finally we rested on her family’s home
and a handful of their closest were present to share in their vows to each other…………….
right before showtime, abby took in a few excited and deep breaths 🙂
they held hands like this the entire ceremony … it’s the little things.
Mr. and Mrs.
jason and abby – i cannot … simply CANNOT express to you how much i love you both. how much i pray for your marriage. how much your love for one another teaches and shows and GIVES to little ol’ me. i truly value the friendship that you have both cultivated with me. i am thankful for the way you reach out to laken and really make that little boy happy. i am proud of you. happy for you. and in AWE of you. and i’m not just saying that because i’m your friend. i’m saying this (with a lump in my throat) because i know the two of you have something very special and unique and valuable. and because i know that you have both placed that in the hands of God and allow Him to lead you forward together. you have both become so near to my heart and soul. i could tell you you’re marvelous all day long. i am excited to see what life brings you. how you grow with and for each other. and how you will give back so much to those around you just by loving each other. thank you for being my friend. thank you for being my neighbors. thank you for BEING.
